Portions of the forest and wetlands have been restored to enhance the wildlife habitat. Wildlife species include White-Tailed Deer, Red Fox, Otters, Squirrels, Chipmunks and Turtles. Bird species include Wild Turkey, Wood Duck, Mallard, Common Loon, Canadian Goose, Kingfisher, Cardinal, and a variety of Goldfinch, Great Heron (including Great Blue), Sparrow, Oriole, Woodpecker, Hummingbird and Owl
